Since leaving school I have served in
the South Africa Military, been employed in commerce and successfully
completed a varied range of studies.
Following graduation as a Doctor of
Chiropractic I have worked successfully in private chiropractic practice
in the Hong Kong, UK, Australia and Japan for over twenty
years. I am currently representing myself and practising as a chiropractor in Hong Kong. My current treatments are based on an accumulation of study, experience and technique over twenty years in professional practice had offered me.
My patient base has included a wide
variety of patients from all walks of life. Some of these
include A-list rock stars and actors, national politicians,
world champion sports persons, corporate executives, housewives
and blue-collar workers.
My clinical approach varies according
to individual patients' clinical presentation. My primary
focus is Chiropractic Biomechanical Pain Management and Trigger Point Therapeutic Massge of both the spinal
column and extremities in conjunction with advise and guidence,
stretching and exercise therapy.
Modalities that I employ include Spinal Mobilization technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique,
Dry Needling, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Massage, Stretching,
Exercise and Patient education. Electro Therapies include
modalities such as Ultrasound, Interferential, Tens or Micro
Currents.
I have in addition developed and lectured
in course content for a leading London Antenatal company.
I have also developed and lectured a course geared towards
couples and focussing on Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy.
Concurrently as a personal interest
I have taught martial arts and desert survival as well as
engaged in numerous public speaking events. In Australia and
Africa I have worked with a highly reputed desert survival
company assisting in lecturing, instructing, leading and guiding
groups in both basic and extreme desert survival.
Due to my diverse experience I am extremely
adaptable to new environments. I enjoy interacting with people
from all walks of life, teaching and instructing and also
relish the challenge of learning new skills.
